Ooredoo Offers Additional SIM Self-Registration Channels
Ooredoo users can now register their SIM through Ooredoo website and apps 24/7
Ooredoo Myanmar, the best customer experience provider in Myanmar announced today about its additional channels – Ooredoo is the first operator which has introduced self-checking and self-registration portal of the Ooredoo SIM registration and providing the easiest step by step self-registration procedures for the customers. Ooredoo customers now have four options to self-register their SIM.
Ooredoo customers can dial *666# to check whether they have registered their SIMs or not. If the SIM is not registered, they will receive a link for self-registration as first option.
Secondly, for those who would like to register through application, they can download My Ooredoo App via *565# and a link will be provided. Then, open the app with Ooredoo 3G/4G and go to navigation menu on the left corner. When clicking on SIM registration, they can check their registration status. If they have not done the SIM registration, a form will be shown and they can fill out the form to register their SIM online.
The users also can call to Ooredoo Call Centre by dialling 234 and it will reach to the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) channel for the self-registration. The system is fully intelligent and automatically checks the customer number to determine if it is registered or not. Then the self-registration link will sent to the customer via SMS to fulfil SIM registration process.
As a forth option, if Ooredoo customers would like to register their SIM through Ooredoo website, they can visit www.ooredoo.com.mmm and visit the Self-care tab. The accessing to the Ooredoo website is anytime free of charges for self-registration and it is a good choice for the non-smart phone users who are not able to use mobile applications. The easy and cleared step by step self-registration procedures under self-care tab will help customer’s SIM registration process till success.
Customers can also visit to the nearest Ooredoo branded store to complete the SIM registration by bringing a copy of NRC card or Student ID or Driving License. Ooredoo B2B customers can contact their account manager for their SIM registration.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications recently made mandated announced by law that all mobile SIM cards must be registered by March 31, 2017.
