World Congress on Information Technology IoT Expo 2017

The 2017 IoT Expo will be held in conjunction with the World Congress on Information Technology 2017 (WCIT 2017), with support from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Industry Development Bureau (IDB). The IoT Expo is co-hosted by Microsoft and Asia IoT Business Platform and the event will bring together key stakeholders from across the IoT value chain, with a strong focus on enterprise solutions.

The inaugural IoT Expo was held in 2016 in Taipei at the Hua Nan Bank International Conference Centre. More than 1,100 global delegates attended it, representing Taiwan, China, India, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines Singapore, Malaysia, and more. Topics that we discussed ranged from Smart City and retail, to manufacturing and Industrial IoT solutions. More than 70 keynotes and 33 IoT applications were showcased.

WCIT was first held in 1978 by World Information Technology & Services Alliance (WITSA), which comprises more than 80 members and represents 90 percent of the global ICT market. WCIT is recognised as the premier international IT forum, where more than 2,500 visionaries, captains of industry, government leaders, and academics are brought together to discuss topics ranging from emerging markets and technologies, to legal and policy issues.

This is an event not to be missed if you are interested in meeting top IoT stakeholders in Asia Pacific, be it buyers or partners. The event this year will witness more than 50,000 attendees across three days of networking and business matchmaking.
