Borderless nubia Z9 Smartphone Launches in China

nubia, a China based high-end Android smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled its 2015 flagship device, the nubia Z9, available in max and mini sizes, in Beijing.

The nubia Z9 boasts various pioneering features such as a visually borderless screen and easier smart phone controls, creating a superior user experience and reflecting the company’s long-term efforts at innovation.

“Innovation never stops. It has been the major driver for the development of a smart phone industry where imagination is the originate power. Two years after being founded, this power has allowed nubia to become an industry pioneer in comparison with other brands,” said Ni Fei, CEO of nubia. “In the future, the world will embrace a revolution of smartphone interaction technology. Revolution starts from imagination, the launch of the nubia Z9 is just the beginning.”

The standout feature of the nubia Z9 is the visually borderless 5.2-inch screen. With arc Refractive Conduction (aRC) technology, the nubia Z9 offers greater visual effects than those from other devices of a similar size while the design makes it more ergonomic and easy to hold.

The borderless design is not only an amazing improvement in terms of aesthetics but also a step forward for users to control their smart phone in a more interactive way.

By adopting Frame interactive Technology (FiT), the nubia Z9 allows users to control their phones by touching just the edge of the screen. For instance, users can launch the camera application immediately by simply turning the phone sideways and placing four fingertips on the edge of the screen.

Other control enhancements include taking one-handed selfies or taking a picture by squeezing the handset without touching any buttons. Altogether, the nubia Z9 reduces the average smartphone process by 2.7 steps compared with traditional smartphones.

Other major features of the nubia Z9 include a 16MP primary camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation), a Snapdragon 810 chipset, a 2,900mAh battery, a 5.2-inch display with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution.

It comes in three different models; classic, with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage for CNY 3,499 ($564); elite, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for CNY 3,999 ($645); and exclusive version with additional fingerprint sensor forCNY 4,499 yuan ($725).
