This October, in a year of increasing uncertainty, the key Asian refiners and petrochemical producers will gather in Bangkok to discuss options of becoming more resilient to crises with leading technology licensors, engineering companies, consultants and other international industry professionals at the leading downstream oil & gas technology conferences dedicated to the region and organised by Euro Petroleum Consultants (EPC); the fifth ASIA-TECH – Asia Downstream Technology Forum, and the second OpEx Asia – Operational Excellence in Refining, Gas & Petrochemicals.
According to Mrs. Jeeranee Pimthanothai, Senior Vice President of Technical and Operations Excellence at PTT Global Chemical Public Company, who are proud supporters of the ASIA-TECH 2016, “the refining and petrochemical businesses are facing the new norm resulting from various complicated situations such as low crude oil prices, global economic slowdown and more stringent environmental regulations. There are various uncertainties which no one can forecast precisely. As one of the key players in the petrochemical industry in the region, we believe that making ourselves resilient to tolerate and cope with the changes will be the best way to face the situation. We feel co-hosting this conference will create a communication platform for new and updated technologies, best practice sharing and discussions for technical solutions; all key elements in preparing ourselves to be resilient to the changes”.
ASIA-TECH and OpEx ASIA will take place from 11 - 14 October, 2016 in Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel and will be preceded by Axens Technology Seminar on 10 October as part of an entire week of knowledge-sharing and unparalleled networking.
WHEN: 11-14 October, 2016
WHERE: Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand
